I feel the most important thing I do to meet the needs of those in special education is to make the objectives reachable for all students. I make accommodations and change the level to make the goal achieveable. I still have high standards for students in special education; those standards may look somewhat different based on the disability of the student. Bob, LPS

If anyone out there hasn't tried an Arts for All workshop, it is quite the eyeopener on reaching special needs students.
Using specialized equipment helps for physical disabilities, but its the whole attitude of assisting learners that is most incredible.
