Thanks for your interest in sponsoring an artist in residence. You can find lot of info about the Nebraska Arts Council's Artist-in-Residence program on our website; www.nebraskaartscouncil.org. The cost is $180 per day and minimum is for 5 days. You can apply for a grant from the NAC to cover 50% of the total fee (more if you have a high % of free/reduced lunch students at your school). You must use an artist from our directory, which is also on our website. Feel free to contact me at marty.skomal@nebraska.gov or Anne Alston at anne.alston@nebraska.gov for more info.
